Nauthólsvík Geothermal Beach

Located in Reykjavik, the Nautholsvik Geothermal Beach is a unique attraction where a man-made lagoon combines geothermal water with seawater, creating a delightful bathing experience. If you find yourself longing for a change of scenery from the lagoon, you can easily transition to the inviting hot tub nearby for further relaxation and enjoyment.






Who said that there is no beach in Reykjavík? There is actually a white sand beach in the outskirts of the city. During the "warmest" days of Summer, you could take a bath at 8ºC /  46ºF in the cold ocean. Only for the bravest ones😜 (I did it!✌🏼). 

This unique beach is located just a few minutes from the city center. It is a well-known project where the cold sea and hot geothermal water fuse together resulting in warmer water.
