"Grassi Lakes offer stunning jade-green waters, clear enough to see the lake bottom, making it worth a few hours’ visit. The trail is easy with a gentle climb over about 2km, though only one trail was open during our visit due to improvements on the other. Climbing enthusiasts with proper gear can ascend for a bird’s-eye view, but note the narrow, unpaved trail requires caution. The parking lot fills up quickly, with overflow parking available before the descent to the main lot. Parking is free, but a park pass is required."

"Choose from the easy route, which takes you up a gentle incline to the spectacular turquoise lake, or the more challenging wooded trail that passes by a waterfall and offers beautiful views of Canmore and Bow Valley. Plan for about one to two hours for this 4 km (2.5 mi) hike."
