"This one is in one of the classic Paris-covered passageways, which makes it a cozy little option to escape the rain!
I would describe this not as a "hole in the wall" but as a "slit in the wall". It is a super narrow cafe with no sitting area and only standing area to form a line and order your coffee. They have a few pastries here, but no other food.
Specialty code is roasted on site daily!
There is seating at the restaurant just across from it... it was empty when we were there and the restaurant was super nice about letting us sit at their tables. If the restaurant is busy though, it will be a grab-and-go vibe (which is honestly not a common vibe for Paris).
Grab-and-go vibe also supported by their exclusively paper cups. Even if they are sustainable, this felt weird to me (not my fav). I like cute little coffee cups and mugs (and places to sit). But, if you're on the go in this neighborhood, the coffee is good and it's worth a stop.
☕️ Allonge: 3.7 €
One other location in Paris too."
