"No trip to Salem is complete without a visit to The Witch Museum! This immersive museum takes you back in time to the Salem Witch Trials of 1692 and is based on the actual documents of that period! Here are some important things you need to know about your visit! Tickets must be purchased the day you would like to visit and are $17.50USD. Tickets go on sale starting at 12a and you will be given a variety of times to choose from. Tickets will sell out, so make sure to purchase tickets right away to avoid disappointment. It’s not like a regular museum that you are free to walk around. There are two presentations that are given during your visit. The first is an immersive experience of the 1692 trials. There are 13 life size stage sets that guide you through the events. The second presentation is an exhibit on the evolving perceptions of the word witch."
" The Salem Witch Museum is a self guided tour that is a bit cheesy but so fun at the same time. There are robot versions of the people from the Salem Witch Trials telling the story and history of the Witch Trials. Another part of the museum goes into the history of the Wicca which is the modern pagan religion or modern witchcraft. There is also a gift shop which is a great stop for a souvenir to take home! We got a postcard we framed for our Halloween decor at home. Be sure to buy tickets online the day of your visit. The tickets are 16.50 for adults, 15.00 for seniors, and 13.50 for kids under 13. Open: 10:00-5:00 with extended hours in October and in July and August"
"Il Witch museum (19 Washington St.) ospita al suo interno documenti legati al processo delle streghe, pratiche di stregoneria, personaggi e racconti. I visitatori internazionali possono richiedere di ascoltare le spiegazioni nella propria lingua (incluso l’italiano). Davanti all’edificio si trova una statua di Roger Conant, il fondatore della città, anche se molti turisti pensano erroneamente che rappresenti l’immagine di un personaggio legato al mondo delle streghe."
