"Such a charming warung in the heart of Ubud. Here, you sit like the locals, on the floor with cushions and low tables. The entrance looks like you're stepping in a family temple garden. There's one section with low tables and another with basic tables. All tables are covered with colorful local fabrics, and some buddhist statues surround the warung. I recommend trying the nasi campur set (don't let the blue rice discourage you; it's just natural ink, and no I don't know why Balinese like to color their rice in weird colors) or try the ayam rendang. Be sure to try their arak (Balinese liquor from palm tree distillation). For dessert, DarDar Gulung of course (pandan-infused crepes with grated coconut inside and served with palm liquid sugar) or go to have a coconut ice-cream at Tukies next door."
