"My personal favorite. I used to live one block from this incredible ice cream-shop and it was my daily guilty pleasure.
It is a very small and hidden place (it doesn't even have a sign!!) and for that reason it is not touristy but well known by the locals.
The handmade ice cream, made everyday with fresh products, and the unusual flavors offered will blow your mind!! Don't be scared by the weirdness of some flavors, I promise you they are worth it and your taste buds will agree with me!!
A must!
Personal favorite: Zafferano al croccante di noci"

"One of Rome's best gelaterie.
La Gourmandise is a small ice cream shop in the Monteverde district of Rome.
It has won several awards over the years, and is now recognised as one of the best in town.
One of the stand out aspects of their ice cream is the use of goats milk, which they claim to ease digestion.
Here you will find the classic gelato flavours produced with top quality ingredients, and other innovative, particular flavours with unusual ingredients and flavour combinations.
