Here’s a little 4-day guide I put together with all my favourite spots in Chiang Mai. I’d highly recommend going from Thursday to Monday so you can catch all the nice weekend markets – they’re the best part! I’ve also shared what I love about each place and some tips to make things easier. Enjoy :)

Baan Kang Wat

A charming artist village with lots of cute shops and cafes. Many shops offer quick workshops like jewellery making, leather crafting, and painting. We did a papier-mâché painting workshop, which was about 160 bath (SGD 6) and spent about 40 mins at the workshop. I highly recommend to sign up for a workshop - it really adds to the experience! Plan to spend about 2-3 hours exploring, especially if you take part in one. 

An artists village and market with local handicrafts, art and and unique craft workshops. A lovely place for a morning stroll or to join a painting or jewelry making class.

Must go arts and craft place! next to it is the Instagrammable No.39 Cafe
