Chiang Mai is the capital of Northern Thailand, and is the 2nd largest city in Thailand! It has a blend of vibrant city life and hilly landscape. If you love both the nature and city, Chiang Mai is the best place for you to visit!

How many days are enough

It depends on what activities you would like to do. If you are coming from Bangkok or touring Asia for a short stay, 3-5 days are definitely enough to explore Chiang Mai city itself, excluding the countryside. However, the countryside in Chiang Mai, with its nature, elephants, waterfalls, tribes, ziplining, glamping, etc., and the temples in Chiang Rai are also extremely worth the visit and even more unique than Chiang Mai city (in my opinion).
