"José Celestino Mutis Botanical Garden is the largest botanical garden in Colombia, and I think the most beautiful. I visited the Botanical Garden of Medellin and it was amazing, but this one really outshines everything else. One thing you can’t miss is the Tropicario (you have to pay an additional fee for admission to the area). It showcases a diverse collection of native flora, including themed gardens featuring Andean, Amazonian, and paramo ecosystems, as well as beautiful collections of roses, orchids, and medicinal plants. The garden also has a butterfly house, and water features that highlight the country’s rich biodiversity. It’s a perfect spot for nature lovers to explore, relax, and learn about Colombia's diverse plant life."

"Botanical Gardens are always a great way to explore the city while getting a break from the hustle and bustle! Bogota's Botanical Gardens sprawl across 19.5 hectares and host over 20,000 plants, beautiful rose gardens, and animals! 𝗰𝗼𝘀𝘁: 3,500 COP  𝗼𝗽𝗲𝗻 𝗵𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀: Monday to Friday 8am-5pm, weekends 9am-5pm "

"Go very early, around 10-11 am. It is a good walk, you can complete it in like 30-45 min. Also, the last Friday of every month, the access is free. There are bathrooms inside"
