Moro Rock Trail

"Moro Rock Trail is only 0.5 miles but it consists of 350 steps carved directly into the rock. When you can’t park at the trailhead and have to hike in from the museum this adds about 2 miles to your hike. When you approach the sign for Moro Rock Trail you can follow the road the entire way or take the trail that dips down to the right of the road. It connects back in to the road eventually but offers more of a picturesque rugged hike. The rock may be a little hard to get to and the climb is no joke but the view at the top is worth it! If you’ve ever wanted to feel like you’re on the edge of the world- this is it!"

"350 steps to the top of this enormous granite dome. Enjoy the breathtaking views after all of your hard work! For reference our 4 year old made it to the top without stopping while our 9 month old enjoyed being carried in the Deuter Carrier. "

"This is a bit steep, but short and worth the views in my opinion. Parking can be limited, so if there's no spots available, you can take the free shuttle from the Giant Forest Museum."
