The Grand Brighton

"This is our go to place for time in Brighton. Its got a huge history and is over 150 years old. Breakfasts are lovely buffet style with a mix of cold and hot items. The last time we went they even did an omelette bar which was very nice. The Grand is a nice place to have a drink or pot of tea and read of your book downstairs. They have nice seats although it can fill up quite quickly with locals or sometimes with graduation crowds as there's a university nearby. You should try their afternoon tea as the Victoria Terrace they have it in has views of the sea and is stunning. Its a reasonable price for the afternoon tea and you get a lot of food including an option to have a slice of cake to take away. There's a very good selection of loose leaf tea and the tea is served in fancy silver tea pots. The Victoria Lounge also does all day dining. We both rather like their burgers and sandwiches. The Room Service food is rather nice and they do a great fish and chips. Haven't eaten in the Cyan Restaurant but it looks good. Rumour has it that the SPA is finally going to be making a comeback after COVID at the Grand which will be well worth a trip on its own. "
