✍🏼The best way for me to visit big cities such as Paris is to spend each day mainly in one area without moving around too much, this allows to spend less time and money on transportation and enjoying your time with no rush. 

You will find for each day:

I've traveled to Paris more than 10x in the last decade. I didn't particularly enjoy the city on my first visit but it has somehow drawn me back many times! My first recommendation is to follow the example of the French - don't attempt to see everything in one day but take time to sit at a cafe and/or restaurant, people-watch, and rest your feet!

Le Bon Marché

This is my favorite department store in Paris. It opened in 1852. It is less crowded than Galeries Lafayette and Printemps due to it's location, which I prefer. The best part about Le Bon Marché is to visit the adjacent La Grandé Epicerie. La Grand Epicerie de Paris has become a true landmark for Parisian gastronomy, it attracts lovers of fine food and curious visitors from around the world. 

This is actually the first department store that ever opened - in the world, so it’s historically really significant! 

My personal favourite corner is the food section, it is massive but is the prettiest grocery store I've probably ever seen! It has everything you could ever need (of course, at a very high price!) 🥘  

They also are known for their festive decorations! 

This is a luxury clothing store with a local's only vibe but there are still plenty of tourists enjoying what the store has to offer. It is my personal favorite because it is small, intimate and cozy. It is not as overwhelming as the other luxury department stores that often get overcrowded during super touristic seasons.

Le Bon Marché is a large (and famous) department store in the 6th arrondissement founded in 1838. It is now owned by Bernard Arnault (the Luis Vitton guy) and sells upscale items. You should also head across the street to its twin, La Grande Epicerie. 

A beautiful, high-end department store where tourists can get the real French shopping experience and splurge on some amazing items.  Dont miss Le Grand Epicerie, right over the interior bridge for a one of a kind foodie experience.  

Iconic department store in Paris, with the beautiful Andrée Putman escalator in the center. It is usually nicely decorated for Christmas season 🥰

Where the French do their high-end shopping. A better version of Gallerias Lafayette, plus the deli section at the bottom is heaven.

Le Bon Marché is a shopping center/food court/delicacy store. You can get here some delicious food but also buy some nice souvenirs.
