Department Stores

Galeries Lafayette Haussmann
@travelajenda
This multi-leveled department store has everything you need. If you have the chance to visit during the Holidays, catch a glimpse of their window displays and large indoor tree. Be sure to check out the rooftop which provides a beautiful panoramic view of Paris from above!

I love the shoe department in this store. Beautifully laid out for the best shopping experience.

La Samaritaine
@travelajenda
Talk about chic! This is the newest department store to (re)open in Paris. It took 7 years to renovate this historic building and boy was it worth the wait. Need a break from all of your shopping? Check out the restaurant and bar on level 5!

Le Bon Marché
@travelajenda
This is my favorite department store in Paris. It opened in 1852. It is less crowded than Galeries Lafayette and Printemps due to it's location, which I prefer. The best part about Le Bon Marché is to visit the adjacent La Grandé Epicerie. La Grand Epicerie de Paris has become a true landmark for Parisian gastronomy, it attracts lovers of fine food and curious visitors from around the world.

BHV Marais
@travelajenda
The Marais neighborhood has become very popular in recent years. BHV is slightly smaller than other department stores in Paris, but provides the same lovely shopping experience.

Luxury Stores

These are my favorites based off of the overall shopping experience.

CELINE PARIS SAINT-HONORÉ
@travelajenda
Rue Saint-Honoré is one of the most iconic shopping streets in the world. This Celine store recently opened and it is magnificent. I purchased a purse at this particular location and sipped champagne while I shopped. It was truly a magical experience.

Maison Goyard
@travelajenda
This iconic Maison is worth a visit if you are in the City of Lights. Since Goyard limits the amount of purchases you can have in a calendar year, their items are highly desired and sought after. If you are a French handbag aficionado, then Maison Goyard is a must stop. I suggest making an appointment, otherwise you will likely have to wait in line outside.

CHANEL 19 CAMBON
@travelajenda
When I think French luxury fashion, I think Chanel. This store is beautifully designed and provides an impeccable shopping experience.

Hermès
@travelajenda
I love this Hermès location due to it's sheer size. With it's grand entry and multiple floors, you can spend plenty of time adding different items to your wish list. There is even a small café inside!

Louis Vuitton Maison Vendôme
@travelajenda
This LV store is just around the corner from iconic The Ritz hotel. I prefer this location to the one on Champs Elysee. It's large and beautifully laid out.

Perfumeries

Guerlain
@travelajenda
You feel like royalty when you enter this famous perfumerie. The staff is comprised a few well seasoned veterans that have been working for Guerlain for years. They really know their stuff! And you leave smelling like a new person.

L'Artisan Parfumeur
@travelajenda
Another great perfumerie brand out of Paris. They have multiple locations where you can try their signature scents. I had a very pleasant experience at this particular location.
