"Playa Carrizallio, or Carri, as it's affectionately known by locals and residents, is a charming cove beach that’s perfect for beginner surf lessons and (somewhat) leisurely swims. Its gentle yet playful waves offer just the right balance for those looking to give surfing a go or enjoy an extremely essential refreshing dip.
The shoreline is dotted with plenty of restaurants, and you can rent sun loungers with parasols if you're willing to pay. During oyster season, don’t miss the vendor on the far right of the beach (when facing the sea) who serves up fresh, delicious oysters at an unbeatable price.
The beach can get incredibly crowded during peak season, so if you're wanting to spend the day down there during the holiday seasons, get there EARLY. The hottest spot to set up camp is at the far right of the beach, as when the sun is at its strongest, a large tree gradually provides some shade (and drops the odd unknown fruit on your head facilitated by some cheeky birds).
If you're a confident swimmer, bring your goggles and head towards the rocks on either side of the cove for a chance to see plenty of fish, and maybe even turtles if you're lucky!"

"This beach was seriously SO beautiful and so much fun! I spent the whole day here just playing in the waves. Highly recommend spending a few hours here and then going to see the sunset at a nearby spot called Mirador Las Tortugas"

"This beach is in downtown area, and it is surrounded by rocks and vegetation.
EVA'S TIP❗ It is also a beach to do surf for beginners, although too crowded. So better to choose somewhere else (from my experience). "
