Prague’s rich cultural history provides an ideal environment for the flourishing specialty coffee scene. From the influence of the Turks to aristocrats enjoying their brews, the city has embraced a diverse coffee culture since the '60s, with even earlier roots (like the sugar cube in Dačice, just south of Prague). Beyond its reputation for fantastic food, Prague impresses with its exceptional coffee offerings—truly outstanding coffee. The city has experienced multiple waves of coffee enthusiasm, signaling a serious commitment to the craft. Local roasters are on the rise, and small specialty coffee shops focus on specific brewing styles, showcasing a dedication to both equipment and skills.
