EMA espresso bar

If you have just arrived by bus to the Florenc station and your first thought is "I need a coffee ASAP!", you are just a short walk away from local favorite EMA espresso bar (the first one on the list). And if you are feeling hungry, I recommend their delicious crispy sourdough sandwiches, because Czech bread is quite something. 🍞

Both Florenc and Karlín locations are not very suitable for digital nomads, as they are quite busy and with few places to sit. The Libeň location, however, is big and quiet enough to sit down with your laptop and blast through emails while you sip on your cuppa.

Lovely café in the Karlín neighborhood, where you can stop by for your cuppa or sit to enjoy it coupled with some pastries. Do you like cafés with industrial vibes that smell with freshly baked pastries? You'll love it here as you can see how the pastries are being made right in front of you.

Spižírna 1920

My favorite lunch and coffee spot whenever I'm feeling like eating something healthy. 🥗 I also can't leave without grabbing some coffee beans for home brewing, because Candy Cane roastery is a local business that I love to support. I recommend making a reservation if you want to visit because this place is always buzzing with people who just can't get enough of this wonderful café.

ABOUT THE AUTHOR
📍I'm a Prague local and have lived in this beautiful city on and off for the past 16 years. ❤️ As I have shown this city to many friends from various countries, I realized their social media-sourced information about Prague was pretty terrible and full of tourist traps. :D That is why I'm dedicating my work here on Thatch to give all travelers a better experience of the city of a thousand spires and I share tips that only the locals know. Experience the city in a more authentic way and you'll see a completely different side of Prague! 😍 I'm a remote content marketer and a foodie with a passion for specialty coffee. When I'm not working, I love staying active – running, hiking, yoga, workouts – and I often escape the city to nature.
