"At 16:00 pm each day this seems to be 'Feeding time' for the Sting rays, as the owner of the hotel feeds them scraps. The Sting rays will swim up to shore, and if you're lucky enough whilst standing in the water they will gently glide over your feet - such a surreal experience! This is also the perfect spot to catch a gorgeous sunset from the dock or the swings located in the water.
This activity I do question ethically as although the Sting rays are wild and come and go as they please, I'm unsure if a use social interaction like such with humans daily is ideal for these docile animals. Not only that, but an animal who becomes used to 'Human help' can then be more vulnerable in the wild, as although these are only scraps, the Sting rays can then become dependant on expecting this food daily when their natural behaviour is to find food at sea. Just some food for thought before you partake in this activity - no pun intended."
