"The Jardin Anglais is one of the prettiest parks in Geneva, and lucky for us, it's right in the heart of the city! It has a beautiful fountain, hundred-year-old trees and the famous "horloge fleurie" flower clock.
I love to pick up lunch from the Halle de Rive and bring it here to enjoy an easy and scenic picnic, and recommend you do, too!
FUN FACTS ABOUT THE FLOWER CLOCK:
The horloge fleurie is the most famous clock in Geneva and has been here in the Jardin Anglais since 1955. Today, it has clock hands gifted by Patek Philippe and the second hand is a whopping 2.5 meters long, probably the biggest one you'll find anywhere!
The time is set electronically via satellite, and the pesticide-free flowers are maintained by a team of city gardeners who swap out the flowers and change designs 4 times a year. "

"A perfect way to relax after the museum, stroll through the English Garden by the lakeside. Don't miss the Flower Clock, a symbol of Geneva’s watchmaking tradition and a colourful photo opportunity. "
