What people say

"The central plaza of any Mexican town is usually a hub of activity but in San Miguel it is THE place to be for everything. It feels like at times the entire town is sitting in the square (especially at sunset). There's musicians and performers, street vendors, icecream, tacos and more to enjoy all in one place! It's a great place to sit and appreciate the community, or even make a few friends as everyone is super friendly."

"This is the Center of the city of SMA. Day or night you will find people milling about this central square in the historic zone. It is where the genteel Mexico and low key tourists meet for ice cream or churros after dinner. You can be entertained for hours watching the coming and goings through the churc with the mariachi bands belting out the greatest hits."
"Grab your cold ice cream cone (there are ice cream stands around the park) and take a seat on one of the main French-inspired brass benches in El Jardīn. This is the tree-covered plaza just in front of Parroquia San Miguel, the tallest church in town. This is a great place to take a rest, get some shade, and do some people-watching. "
