What people say

"Bush camping at its best. I love those hidden gems in National Parks. The government does a great job with those, I have to admit. They are cheap and well located. Dales is a very large-size campground. Close to Dales Gorge, Fern Pool, Fortescue Falls and Circular Pool. Bookings are essential so make sure you book this on the way as there is only limited service in the park itself. 153 compacted gravel surface campsites of varying sizes in six named areas are provided and generators are permitted in some areas only. Some areas are closed during periods of low demand and all campsites are unpowered so make sure your leisure battery is charged. Unfortunately we only passed here as there was a dingo attack to a child so the government decided to close the park for a while. It's important to check campsites details before you go not after like I did. Don't be scared it's wildlife and from time to time they come and say hello. Note: The attack was at a young child so please be careful with them a dingo attack to adults is rare but it is important to treat them as wildlife and not feed them so they are not getting used to people. If they get used to people they will go closer to them till the point someone shoots an innocent animal because they see them as a threat. So please think twice!"
"Dales Campground is a convenient base for exploring Karijini National Park and offers a unique opportunity to witness wild dingos in their natural habitat. Located within the park, the campground provides a tranquil setting surrounded by the park's stunning landscapes. It is required to make a booking in advance through the official website at https://exploreparks.dbca.wa.gov.au/site/dales-campground to secure your spot and ensure a smooth and enjoyable stay during your visit to Karijini National Park. Note that there is no phone reception at the campground so you'l have to make a Booking either before coming to Karijini or at Visitor centre. "
