"Krakow's main square was constructed in response to the Mongol invasion in 1257 and spans over 100 square meters, making it the most significant market area in the region and a must-see destination. It has been the center of the country's important events, festivals, and social gatherings throughout history. It has served as a social, commercial, and cultural hub from its inception, connecting the city with the West. The square continues to be a popular gathering place, with locals enjoying the warm sun, snacking, feeding the pigeons, and sipping on coffee. Visitors can climb the St. Mary Basilica for stunning views of the surrounding area. During our visit to Krakow, it was Easter, and we were fortunate to witness the parade of locals dressed in traditional white dresses and shirts adorned with colorful embroidery."

"Another beautiful part of the Main Square - you will find great views of this from up in the Town Hall Tower. There is also a lovely little market that runs inside through the middle where you will find locals selling their crafts and other various souvenirs! "

"Walk through one of the largest medieval squares in Europe, featuring the Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) and the Town Hall Tower."
