"This temple compound is compromised of three temple sections. We wandered through the different areas in amazement. The main building with elephants is a sight you do not want to miss. I highly recommend doing a “Monk Chat” here. We sat down in shade and spoke to a monk who lived on the premises. We learned about how the monks practice Buddhism, the role of Buddhism in Thailand, and about the temple compound itself. Usually, a donation to the monk is recommended after conversation is over."

"Wat Chedi Luang is a Buddhist temple in the historic centre of Chiang Mai, Thailand. The current temple grounds were originally made up of three temples — Wat Chedi Luang, Wat Ho Tham and Wat Sukmin.
The fee is 40 Baht for adults, 20 Baht for children. The temple remains free to visit for Thai people"
