Flight From Singapore to Cebu on 20th December

06:20am - 10:00am 3 Hours 40 minutes direct

Baggage added on

Map of Philippines

Please note If wish to go to Siargo which is famous for surfing then the best route is a flight from cebu

To go into El Nido you either need to fly into Puerto Princesca and take a long bus up or fly into Coron then take a 3 day boat trip down to El Nido

To get back to Singapore for returning flight will need to fly into Manilla to do this.

Borocay is the most expensive and has couple and family vibes and beautiful beaches

Apps to download

Grab - can be used in Manila and Cebu

Where to stay in Cebu

If you are staying in Cebu city which I dont recommend as there I'd a lot of poverty and no beach there then you need maximum one night to catch up on sleep, ypu can go straight to moalboal from the airport but please note this is a 3 hour journey after a long flight.

Aleo an option what I done is I took a grab taxi back to a resort near the airport for approx 6=> pounds and booked a day pass at Solea Hotel and used the pool beach and facilities and had lunch there. The prices vary in hotels they can start from 1000 philippines pesos up to 2500 philippines pesos but its better than paying for an expensive night when 6ou can try out for the day.

To Fly From Bohol To Puerto Princesa there is a stop over at Manilla from here you could also go to Boracay but again there is a stop over in Manilla. MOST FLIGHTS ARE WORKING OUT BETWEEN 2-300 PER ONE WAY

All flights are a stopover in Manilla so make sure you definitely want to go to the place you have chosen as its a long travel day.

Probably better off flying into Coron or El Nido rather than taking a 5-6 hour bus ride from Puerto princesca.

Can travel on 30th or 31st December 2023 or wait until the new year.

Puerto Princesa
@theitinerarygal
I recommend the firefly tour and underwater River cave

Things to do in Siquijor

It is best if you rent a scooter but if stopped by police and you don't have a proper licence it is a fine. I had the best time here and it is super easy to drive.

Please note this is not a party island but a chilled out island.

Cambugahay Falls
@theitinerarygal
Swing an unlimited amount of times for 50 PHP (0.89 USD). There is also an entrance fee to the falls, which costs 20 PHP (0.35 USD). You won’t need a guide to get to the waterfall; it’s about 150 steps on a well-made stair. Because it is a popular tourist attraction in Siquijor, we recommend you visit in the morning.
Add to
Details

Paliton Beach
@theitinerarygal
The most beautiful beach in Siquijor is called Paliton Beach. It is well known among travelers and locals but doesn’t get too crowded besides the weekends. The white sand beach, clear water with starfish, and palm trees make it a great place to spend the afternoon and watch the sunset. Paliton Beach is located very close to San Juan town.

Butterfly Sanctuary
@theitinerarygal
This is in some locals back garden really cool
Add to
Details
Lugnason Falls
@theitinerarygal
Different from Cambugahay Falls, the Luganson Waterfall is hidden and not on every traveler’s list of things to do in Siquijor. A beautiful 5-minute hike down the jungle hill brings you to a silky blue waterfall.
Add to
Details

How to get to Siqujior

Due to Siquijor’s position near Dumaguete, Cebu, and Bohol, it isn’t that hard to reach the island. There are no flights, but it is easily accessible via ferry.

It is best to take a ferry from Dumaguete (40 min) or Bohol (90 min). Both locations are easy to reach by airplane. From Cebu City would require a bus trip (4 hours) down the island to the ferry point in Lilo-an. Please note that while departing, you have to pay a terminal and luggage fee.

Find your boat / bus tickets online. I recommend OceanJet.

It will be easier to go to Siqujior after Moalboal and oslob, Then you can fly from Bohol into coron or El Nido.

A must do hidden gem

Bu Cafe - a hilltop cafe where you can watch sunset and lie in a hammock. It's amazing and not as busy with tourists...yet

Manila
@theitinerarygal
I never stayed in Manila only visited the airport
Add to
Details

After this, there is an option to fly back to Manilla and stay for one night then fly to Singapore and spend either a night before the flight or travel on the day and then hang out in the airport as the flight is 11pm at night.

It will depend on flight times.

El Nido has direct flights to Manila.

There is a 10.40am flight to Singapore on 15th which gets there for afternoon but may wish to travel to Singapore one day before to be safe and stay in Hotel and explore the rest of Singapore or train and relax before flying home

Not sure how reliable the flights are and whether they are delayed often.
