2.5 Days in Paris

While 2.5 days is not enough to explore all of Paris, it is just enough time to see some of the major sites and do some shopping.

Day 1

Arc de Triumph and Champs-Elysees

Start at the Arc de Triumph it's worth going up to the top. We are pretty much standing in the middle of the street for this photo, you’ll see a bunch of Asians doing this is the start are Champs-Elysees

Afterward, dodge some cars and head down towards the Champs-Elysees.

Here you’ll find stores from all over the world. Ones to note:

Largest Louis Vuitton store, worth waiting in line and going in. It's a museum and has so much ridiculous stuff.

Monoprix is their version of Target. They have souvenirs from all the major brands.

Laudree there will be a line to eat at the restaurant and another line to pick up macaroons to go. There are also locations without a line.

Once you get to the end of the street you can hop on the metro and head to the Trocadero stop.

Next up, the Eiffel Tower

Trocadéro Square
@juliepang
Be careful exiting this station as there are a lot of tourists and pickpocketers and vendors. You’ll be able to see the Eiffel Tower from the top of the stairs. From here, you’ll want to walk down the stairs toward the Eiffel Tower.

Eiffel Tower
@juliepang
You need tickets to go up and will need to go through metal detectors before even getting close to it.  I would recommend going around sunset, so you can see the changing of colors from the top.  Then when you get down you can walk through the park to a place where you can see the lights. The light show happens every 30 minutes so wait around for it.
