Elevation: 2,493 to 3,087 feet / 760 to 940 meters
Mount Britton Trail & Tower is the most scenic hike in El Yunque National Forest. Despite its 'challenging' label, this 45-minute hike is entirely within reach. The trail's mix of asphalt, gravel, and natural stone allows for an immersive experience amidst the lush rainforest. With an elevation climb of 594 feet in less than a mile, the trail presents a few steep sections, but the captivating forest ambiance ensures an inspiring ascent.
