V19E4: Fall Wandering in Southern Colorado

This episode kicks off in Pagosa Springs, where Shannon and I grab a bite to eat (or two) before venturing into the nearby San Juan National Forest, for some dispersed camping in our Winnebago Revel. Thereafter, I take my Jeep into the mountains to explore a winding forest road in mid-October.

Eat in Pagosa Springs

Shannon and I enjoyed a Saturday afternoon in Pagosa Springs, Colorado, and ate lunch at the following delicious destinations. Yes, we had two lunches! That's what happens when you're at a brewpub and there's an interesting food truck with live music across the street. It was well worth the gastro-intestinal distress.

We ate outside in mid-october, and I had a delicious pizza burger, and a pumpkin ale. It was pretty good, comfortable, and had a great vibe. We'd enjoy going back. Most menu items have a The Big Lebowski theme, which was interesting, man.

Meltdown on Main

An outdoor food truck in downtown Pagosa Springs the serves up some delicious grilled cheese sandwiches. Shannon and I shared a mac-and-cheese grilled cheese while enjoying live music, a solo guitarist. This was a phenomenal place to stop for lunch.
