Street runs along a canal, and is right next to nishiki markets. Full of nightlife with lots of restaurants and bars to enjoy! If the weather is nice, I recommend sitting along Kamo river after dinner.

Had a great time here and want to go again. We actually could not read the menu at all but the staff were friendly :) Google translate helped a little bit.
Menu changes but we had: lemon sour, high ball, shirako, oysters, pork offal and young chicken thigh(slightly grilled on the outside but raw)

Ramen street on the 10 floor of the kyoto station building. We had ramen from Matsutani which is a kyoto based ramen brand. This ramen has thin noodles in a thick pork and soy broth with a strong taste and chunks of pork fat floating in it. Delicious and comforting :)

There’s also heaps of food stalls around fushimi inari to enjoy. We had a meat rice ball at the market near fushimi inari :)

Traditional matcha restaurant, visit early as there is a long wait time. There’s a ticketing system which you can scan the QR code to your phone to monitor the queue time, so you could walk around Uji while waiting.
English instruction and information is mostly available.
Reccomendation: green tea soba set (hot or cold), parfait, usucha, matcha jelly
