Ultimate Arizona Road Trip Food & Hotel Guide: Phoenix-Page-Grand Canyon -Scottsdale Loop

For our anniversary, my husband and I took a 4-day road trip through Arizona. We began in Phoenix hiking Camelback, explored a ghost town, sunset hiked a Sedona vortex, stargazed in awe & slept under the stars on an authentic Navajo reservation near Page, and felt the wonder that is the Grand Canyon. This 4-day hotel and food guide includes everywhere we stayed and ate along the way and would 10/10 recommend.

day 1 start in PHOENIX

We arrived early/mid morning, grabbed our rental, and hit the road for some breakfast before hiking. Post hike grabbed some brews and brauts before heading north bound.

O.H.S.O. Brewery + Distillery
@jesstakethetrip
Great views of camelback, place was pretty busy with locals and got some good tips for hiking camelback. You know you've found a good spot when all the patrons at the bar top are locals. Food was great!

Shash Dine' EcoRetreat
@jesstakethetrip
If you stay no where else from this guide, you MUST stay here. There are no words for the Arizona sky at night in the desert. It does get cool in the night so bring layers! We stayed in the sheep wagon. Such a cool experience and the hosts are just amazing

Big John's Texas BBQ

You really can't beat a good BBQ joint. Page is pretty small and options are too but this place popped up on several reddits and we left with full bellies. Good entertainment too!

day 3 GRAND CANYON to SCOTTSDALE

Foodie Club
@jesstakethetrip
Embarrassingly we hit a BK drive through since we left Shash Dine before the complementary breakfast but if you get a chance I rec you try it! We stopped here for a "real" breakfast/early lunch and thought this place hit the spot out of pure starvation or if it was actually decent. Nonetheless we left full. Service was fast and we were refueled for our drive back to scottsdale
