ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Julianna Cassata
Seeking slow, savor-worthy travels? I curate food and design-led trips hitting local gems + must-see sights across London, Europe & the US. Hi! 👋 I'm Julianna, a London-based, multi-passionate creative, digital marketer and traveler. I left my corporate job 6 years ago to freelance and to start my small accessories brand, Maragold Designs. Having long-been a travel resource for family, friends and friends-of-friends, I'm looking forward to now pursuing my love of travel in a way that helps others experience places to their fullest! I've always longed for a way to more widely share the knowledge that I’ve gained through first hand experience, countless hours of research and, compiling of recommendations. Enter Thatch! Before moving to London 4 years ago, I lived in Boston and am originally from a small town in Massachusetts. I grew up across the street from my family's Italian-American restaurant which was established in 1933 by my great grandparents who emigrated from Italy. From an early age, this instilled in me a deep appreciation for small businesses. They're truly the heartbeat of any community and I love discovering special local spots on my travels. Check out my guides for some special spots!
