Ubud: A Yoga Paradise

My adventure began in Ubud, where the highlight was undoubtedly visiting the iconic Yoga Barn. This place is a sanctuary for yoga enthusiasts and wellness seekers alike. I stayed at Kuna Bali, a fantastic hostel that offers a complimentary 15-minute massage every day. It attracts a vibrant crowd with daily events, making it a fun and social experience.

While Ubud is famous for its Monkey Forest, I must admit I skipped that due to my fear of monkeys! However, there are plenty of other activities to enjoy. Consider taking one of the many walking tours around the temples, or embark on a breathtaking sunrise hike to Mount Batur. Don’t forget to explore the stunning waterfalls in the northern region and unwind at pool bars like Cretya.

Amed: Chill Vibes

Next, I headed to Amed, a tranquil village known for its raw beauty. Many travelers flock to Lovina for dolphin watching, but I opted for Amed to reconnect with friends. While it’s a small town that quiets down by 10 p.m., the relaxed atmosphere made it a delightful getaway.

Uluwatu: Cliffs and Beaches

My journey continued to Uluwatu, where the cliffs and azure beaches took my breath away. I spent a night at Dream Sea Surf, an amazing accommodation that I highly recommend. The area is also home to a lovely spa called Senses, perfect for some pampering after a day of exploration.
