What people say

"🤿 You can enter the water between Water Sports and the Warung Pyramids restaurant, where the reef begins. The recommended snorkeling spot includes the coral reef along this section of Amed beach, ranging from approximately 2 to 4 meters deep. For more exploration, you can also venture to the "pyramids" situated in the sandy areas near the base of the natural reef, which can be found at depths of around (6 to 12 meters). 🐠 Expect to see Sunburst butterflyfish, Moorish idols, titan triggerfish and trumpetfish are some of the most common fish species found on the reef. But it is especially the hawksbill sea turtles that make the reputation of this spot. 🚫 Don’t touch or harm the animals or the reef – you are in their habitat, protect and respect it. 👫🏾 Always swim, snorkeling/ freedive with a buddy. "Amed is located in the East of Bali and surprisingly still very quiet. It is known for the best dive spots in Bali as well as great snorkeling. The beaches here are mostly black and super beautiful, lined with colourful fishermen boats and majestic volcano Mount Agung towering in the background. A spectacular view I couldn't get enough of."
"Participate in coral reef restoration efforts with Coral Reef Care in East Bali, lending a helping hand to preserve and revive the vibrant marine ecosystems that grace these pristine waters."
