Hey fellow foodie - in this guide, you'll find a mix of brunch spots, tapas bars, and Michelin-star restaurants for both lunch and dinner; all taste-tested by yours truly! I provide 4-6 recommended dishes at each restaurant to make your dining choices easier.
I don't have food restrictions, BUT there is a combination of carnivore, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free restaurants to please everyone.

Brunch spots are typically open from 9am - 3/4pm and most of the time don't require a reservation, but I'd recommend getting there before noon so you're not standing and waiting for a table.

The ultimate carnivore restaurant... this is absolutely the most boujee meat you'll get in Barcelona. The concept of the plates here is so unique - there are different menus for the different types of meats.
You can pick between a veal, old cow, or beef menu; which has all different options depending on what type of meat you like. Ask your server for recommendations - they know the menu the best!

If there's any place to grab a sangria in Barcelona... this is IT (as they are best known for theirs!) If you like red wine: Lolea Nº4, and if you like white wine: Lolea Nº2.

If you're looking for a little late night pizza (24 hours!) - this will hit the spot, and it's super cheap!
My recommendations: Tuna/Pesto/Tomato/Onion, sweet ham and cheese, truffle mushroom and the sweet ham and cheese calzone.

My recommendations: ask for the dish of the day - it's always locally sourced and extremely fresh, tuna tartare, anchovies and white sardines, ham/chicken croquette, lamb canneloni, and the french toast desert.

The perfect bite to eat after a day at the Picasso museum, this is an old school tapas bar that has been around for nearly 100 years!
They are best known for their Xampanyet (Cava - sparking wine) so this is a must. I'd also recommend getting the potato omlete, Padrón peppers, and the anchovies.

Be sure to make a reservation, it's also closed on Sundays!

Delicious and affordable! My recommendations: artichokes with jamon, steak tartare, catalan creme brulee, mongetes (beans), and snails + goat cheese.
They ONLY accept cash, and if you want a table... come in between 1:30-3:30pm, otherwise you'll be waiting awhile for a table.

This is a food-hall type of restaurant - you can actually find a pizza place in here as well!
This delectable middle eastern spot is about 15 minutes away from La Sagrada Familia... come hungry! My recommendations are the lamb skewers, roasted green beans, beet hummus, tandoori chicken pita, eggplant pita, the baklava and the pistachio ice cream.

My favorite thing about Jacqueline is that they have a wine tasting called "Winesday" every Wednesday from 7p-11p that is put together by a sommelier and paired with special food from the chef - don't miss this! 35 euros per person and two people minimum! They have beautiful live music every night by different artists.

This restaurant has two prefixed menus for eating; one menu for their classic dishes and the other menu is for dishes with in-season foods. (275 euros)
They also have two options for wine pairings for your dining experience; one wine pairing (145 euros) done by sommeliers, and one alcohol-free wine tasting (165 euros)

A beautiful local spot for delicious food - keep in mind there are no reservations/tables over 6 and no kids under the age of 12. PLAN AHEAD and make a reservation and don't be surprised when the chef comes out and talks with you - Carlos is amazing!
My recommendations: pork belly, omlete, fried artichokes, the lamb brain, tomato bread and get a dish recommend by the chef!

Amazing food and probably one of the largest wine selections to choose from!
There are two options for tasting menus - 5 courses or 8 courses, with prices ranging from 75/90 euros. If you want to choose your own food - you can order from the tapas menu as well.. I'd recommend the sweet potato and ricotta salad, smoke eggplant, stuffed cabbage roll, or the veal! As for the desserts... might I suggest everyone get a plate?!
