Do you need more information for your trip to Alsace?

Airport:

-AĂ©roport de Strasbourg

-There is no international airport in Strasbourg - you will most likely land in Paris and take a connecting flight.

Train:

-You can also take the train from Paris, this typically takes around 2 hours. You can look for tickets on the SNCF, Trainline, Ouigo or Omio.

How to get around the region:

-Most of the beauty of Alsace is found in the small towns. It's important to note that in order to do this RENTING A CAR is the best way to get around. There are no train stations in the small towns. The only train stations can be found in Strasbourg and Colmar.

Getting to/from the airport:

-There is a shuttle that will take you from the Strasbourg airport directly into the city centre within 8 minutes.

-You can buy tickets at the train station or at the airport at the ticket machines.

Whether you’re planning a dream trip to France, the UK, or beyond, I hope I can help you plan your next adventure! ✨ My expertise? 🇫🇷 On top of living in Lille, France for 2 years, my French fiancee has helped me develop a passion for this country beyond a typical tourist. Over the past 8 years, I’ve explored France from north to south: I’ve visited Paris 9 times, road-tripped through Normandy twice, & fell in love with Alsace. I’ve spent time castle-hopping in the Loire Valley, beach-hopping in Corsica, & explored Provence & the French Riviera multiple times. Bordeaux has become a second home, with over 10 visits to the region. 🇬🇧 I lived in London, UK for 2 years, mostly during the pandemic, when I really got to know the city in depth - since we couldn't go anywhere else! Beyond London, I’ve road-tripped through Scotland twice, explored gems like York and Liverpool, road-tripped through Cornwall & enjoyed countless day trips, from charming villages to coastal towns.
