- International Flights: Vienna International Airport (VIE) receives flights from many global destinations (many low costcompanies too). The airport is about 18 km from the city center.
- Transfer to the City: You can reach the city center from the airport by CAT (City Airport Train - 16€), regular train (2,4€/one wayticket), bus (around 8€), or taxi (from 35€).
- **International Routes**: Vienna is connected to many European cities by train. The main train station (Wien Hauptbahnhof) is centrally located. Austrian national Train company is called ÖBB.
- **Local Routes**: Regional trains and the metro (U-Bahn) also provide easy access to different parts of the city.
- **Highways**: Vienna is well-connected by European highways. If you are driving, follow the signs to the city center and park in one of the city garages (startingfrom2,2€/h).
- **Parking**: Parking in the city center is limited, so it’s advisable to use park-and-ride facilities and public transport.

- **Intercity Buses**: There are many international and regional bus lines connecting Vienna with other cities. Bus stations are well-linked with public transport.
- **Cycling Routes**: If you’re adventurous, you can cycle to Vienna using European cycling routes. The city has a well-developed network of bike paths.

Vienna has very well regulated cityy transit system that includes trains, trams and buses. City trains are designated with the labels U1, U2, U3, U4 and U6. There is an app caled Wien Mobil that includes all the lines and make it easy to navigate through the city. The app is free.
