Taquería Orinoco

Orinoco has become a favourite among travellers to CDMX because the menu and the process for ordering are easy to navigate and not as intimidating as some of the street food stands in the city. The tacos are delicious (I recommend the trompo), and if you order more than 3, you get a side of roasted potatoes for free. 

They have a few locations throughout Mexico City. 

A rare spot that deserves the hype it's getting; not only is it instagram-worthy, the tacos are also very good. Frequented by tourists and locals alike. (Don't miss out on the hibiscus-guava water –agua de jamaica con guayaba.) 

There are other locations besides Roma Norte, including one in Zona Rosa and one in Polanco. I read that lines can be super long. My friend said it wasn't worth it, but I didn't get to see for myself this trip

After a night out - this place hits! IMO I prefer other taco spots but you have to try at least once, for the experience. 

Authentic Mexican food. This is a chain so there are multiple locations.  cheap and quick meal. 

Go late night and be ready to wait in line.
