Marché des enfants rouges
📍39 rue de Bretagne
Metro: Line 8 - Filles du Calvaire, Lines 4 & 11 - Arts et Métiers, Lines 5 & 9 - Oberkampf
If, like me, you're having trouble deciding what to eat, good luck! In fact, I seem to have went around the Marché des Enfants Rouges at least 3 times before choosing.
I finally settled on one of the best sandwiches I've had in a long time at Alain Miam Miam - a very hyped sandwich place that actually deserves the hype.
The great thing about this market, which is actually more of a food court, is that you can come as a group, order from different places and still eat together. Which has its advantages when no one seems willing to compromise.
Marché des Enfants Rouges
@charlottetricoire
Among the dozen or so stalls at this little market, our hearts (and stomachs!) will go out to Alain Miam Miam, the king of sandwiches, generous with cheese and tasty as can be. Those who want to travel with their taste buds will be more likely to head for the "traiteur marrocain", where they'll enjoy an eggplant salad to die for, or for the Japanese stand, Chez Takeo. Sitting at the counter, you'll fall for their delicious sardine or tofu donburi, as well as their absolutely divine green tea ice cream.

Rue Montorgueil
📍Rue Montorgueil (#captainobvious)
Metro: Line 4 - Les Halles or Étienne Marcel
Here's one for gourmands! Rue Montorgueil is a permanent market street straddling the 1st and 2nd arrondissements. Fishmongers, bakers, florists and artisan cheesemongers spill their wares (and their lush aromas) onto the pedestrian sidewalks, beneath large, colorful storefronts.

Pause to admire the ornate ceiling chandelier and sumptuous interiors of Stohrer, the city's oldest patisserie. Of course, if you go in, it would be rude not to leave with your arms full of chocolate éclairs and rum babas.
Stohrer
@charlottetricoire
Believe it or not, this bakery is older than the US! Created in 1730, it's the oldest in town, which has left them PLENTY of time to perfect their rum babas' recipe. Don't know what a rum baba is? Then RUN, don't walk, to this hidden gem!

Pro-tip: pick up some stuff for a picnic Rue Montorgueil and head to the Jardin des Tuileries or the Champ-de-Mars, facing the Louvre's Pyramid or the Eiffel Tower. Not bad, right?

Louvre Museum
@charlottetricoire
Icon among icons, the Louvre is simply a must-see. This is where you can try to spot the Mona Lisa through the hordes of tourists, or admire the Venus de Milo. But our favorite part of the museum is irrevocably the Egyptian antiquities department. BREATHTAKING.
Expert's tip: the Louvre is always full (except on Tuesdays, when it's closed - we fooled you!), so be psychologically prepared to elbow your way through. HOWEVER, every Friday, the museum has a nocturne, closing its doors at 9:45pm. This is when the Louvre is least crowded. So get there from 6pm and enjoy the museum in Ben Stiller mode.

- Centre Pompidou (11 minutes walk)
The Centre Pompidou
@charlottetricoire
The Centre Pompidou will blow your mind! The exterior of this contemporary building sets the tone. In fact, it was built “inside out”, exposing the building's innards - pipes, air conditioning, elevators, etc. - to the light of day. If Parisians found it hard to accept, today they're quite proud of it, and with good reason!
Specializing in contemporary, twentieth- and nineteenth-century works, the center houses famous paintings by world-renowned artists such as Pablo Picasso, Frida Kahlo and Marcel Duchamp. A must-see in the heart of Paris.
Expert tip: if you just want to admire the view without visiting the museum, that's also possible - just ask for a BPI ticket (for the library) and take the escalators!
Second expert tip: admission is free on the first Sunday of every month! And all year round for European residents under the age of 25.

If you don't find something to your taste in this temple of Italian cuisine, I don't know what to say! This gigantic space tends to make our heads spin, but you'll find everything from pizzas and pastas to delicious Aperol Spritz to be enjoyed on the venue's sun loungers.
What's more, it's a beautiful place, with a false air of urban jungle. You'll be able to take some great photos, as well as enjoying a delicious meal!

Time Out Article:
"Pastas, pizzas, burgers, grills, cocktails - it's the growing teenager's dream menu. And the taste? Well, not bad at all! Pizza al taglio (€8) at Panificio, where all the salads are eye-catching. At Hamburgheria, the Big Mamma Style burger is a good choice, combining beef steak and cheddar cheese in a homemade cinnamon bun, topped with grilled bacon and spiced up with an herbed mayo sauce (€10).
Beepers everywhere indicate that you can pick up your order. Very decent beers, average wines and cocktails. Félicità is the new Ventre de Paris, as it was for Florent in Zola's "he found Paris again, fat, superb, overflowing with food (...) he rolled there, in a stranger of edibles, which he felt swarming around him and which worried him."
