The Best Bars in New York from a local

The Best Bars in New York from a local

I've lived in three different neighborhoods and two different boroughs over the last 5 years. What doesn't change is the comfort in saying "I'll meet you at THE bar". While I love trying out new places, check out my favorite spots I keep going back to again and again.

Ask to sit in the back! Cozy couches, vintage-y old leather seats and arm-chairs. Feels like your having a drink with your friends around the fire in an old-money estate

Brooklyn Brewery
@courtsplanet
I'm a regular here. Super nice bartenders, dog and family-friendly and great beer selection. An Iconic New York/Brooklyn spot. Go on a tour of the brewery, grab a few beers, check out the local rotating art mural featured! Tip: -You can bring in your own food! Only a few snacks available, but rotating food trucks partnered each week.

Because I'm a regular twenty-something working a regular job and have been self-funding my traveling for over a decade! I've been in your shoes - wanting to find the best hike, the best cup of coffee, get a drink at the bar the locals go to, see the monuments, eat at Michelin restaurants- and make the most of my time and money. I know what it's like to want to do it ALL and I'm here to tell you that you don't have to choose. I've been sharing my tips and recommendations for a long time, and want to help make travel accessible for everyone.
