"PDT offers award-winning cocktails -- inside the hotdog joint, Criff's dogs. To enter, you have to call through a telephone kiosk in the hotdog shop, and you will soon relax in a leather booth with a cocktail in hand. If ever you do want a hotdog -- they come through their own private entrance through a hole in the wall.
Be warned, though, seats are scant, and PDT is popular -- passwords change daily and are based on reservations made that day. Call PDT at 3 pm to have a chance to come here. "

"Please Don’t Tell is a secret speakeasy, hidden away behind a payphone inside the inconspicuous hot dog restaurant ‘Crif Dogs’ on St Marks Place.
To enter the dark and moody bar you need to call through via the wooden phone booth to then be granted access. They are renowned for serving up exquisite craft cocktails and are often cited as being one of the first modern speakeasy bars."
