Brussels and Leuven are like two sides of Belgium’s charm, each with its own vibe. Brussels, the lively capital, has everything from the jaw-dropping Grand Place to quirky spots like the Atomium. You can wander cobblestone streets, snack on waffles, and spot comic book murals around every corner. Just a quick train ride away, Leuven feels like a cozy little escape. It’s a student town with a cool energy, beautiful old buildings, and the super chill vibe of the Oude Markt, packed with cafes and bars. Whether you're into history, great food, or just soaking up the atmosphere, these two cities have you covered. I spent one week living in Leuven and day-tripped to Brussels

A short and sweet 4 days in Ubud in the summer of 2019. I can't wait to go back. Although there are a lot of tourists, these are popular places because they really are beautiful and unique.

I took a 2-week solo trip through Norway (mostly), Sweden, and Denmark! I planned it the week before I left so can't say these are the absolute BEST places to stay or BEST options. But for a last minute trip, I struck a balance of budget and luxury options for stays, food, and activities and did everything I wanted to do on my list! I travelled in December 2024.

Holland’s capital is a charming city famous for its canals and Dutch culture including bicycles, windmills, tulips, and of course the red light district. It was a city I was only in for a few days and while I was there KNEW I had to come back. It’s a city I could imagine living in and can see myself revisiting over and over! 💐🌷🍃🚨🚲
