Afternoon:

Head to Lake Krn, one of the largest high-altitude Alpine lakes. You can either take a leisurely stroll around the lake or opt for a more challenging hike to the surrounding peaks.

While this hike is a bit more challenging, I don't recommend it, for example, for those with kids. However, once you reach the summit, you'll be rewarded with the breathtaking views of not just one, but two beautiful lakes.

Day 2: Waterfalls and Nature Wonders

Nearby Slap Virje, you can also visit a geyser. I suggest that if you are already in the area, you should take the opportunity to explore this attraction. Not only will you learn something, but you'll also enjoy a fantastic view of the surrounding mountains.

From Slap Kozjak, you can travel in only few kilometres to visit Lago di Fusine Superiore which is already in Italy rather then in Slovenia but as it is really close you should not miss the opportunity to see that too.
