"From the parking lot, it's a 5-10 minute walk down to the Virje Waterfall (Slap Virje) in Plužna. This is where the Gljun stream (a karstic spring) flows down the Kanin Mountains, over mossy rocks, and into a pool of icy green water. The tiered waterfall is wider than it is tall. It's a powerful waterfall in the spring, when snow is melting in the mountains. By late summer, it can practically dry up without rain. Despite its remote location, this is a popular spot, so don't be surprised to find a small crowd spread out on the rocks."

"Slap Virje is easily accessible and is a great place to relax and unwind for a while. However, please remember that swimming in the pond under the waterfall is not allowed."
