If it is snowy, I recommend spikes for your shoes/boots There is also a 3.5 mile hike back down the mountain as it is preferred if you make it to the summit. If you can not make it up the mountain you can cautiously turn around and go down. Be mindful of other inline goers!

During Christmas, everything is decorated, ornaments and lights everywhere. Holiday Drinks are great. Pies are outstanding, and excellent customer service. Reservations aren’t required, but there is usuallly a wait if you don’t have one.

I scream, we all scream for ICE CREAM! Best ice cream in Denver. Not only is there any kind of flavor you can think of, but you can sample as many as you’d like before you buy! They offer many different sizes in cups, bowls, and cones. You name it and I’m almost certain they have it. I had a seasonal flavor hot cocoa and salted Carmel Oreo. They were amazing.

In winter, wear spikes. The Lake hikes are beautiful. They are in Rockey Mountain National Park and you must pay a $30 fee to enter. The Lake trials range from 0.6-2.3 miles one way.
