Summer of 2022, I went on a 20 days solo trip to Portugal, hitchhiking from town to town and discovering the beauties of this country. I went to all the touristy places, and beyond. If it wasn't for all the time spent with the locals and their recommendations, I would have never thought about going to this places because they never show up on the first pages of Google searches when you think about going to Portugal! This itinerary is for you if you're a solo traveler, a carefree, yolo group of friends traveling together or a couple traveling in their camper. Why ? Because those places are not flashy, far from being the most instagramable, there is very little or no "tourists", but they are definitely the richest in unexpected, raw and authentic experiences that you'll remember for a lifetime.
