These tracks are from our first day at Kennedy Meadows. It was 100% singletrack and it was a 42-mile ride.

These tracks are from day 2 at Kennedy Meadows in June of 2022. It is a 60 mile loop starting with Mahogany Creek trail then the famous Rattlesnake Trail. After that we hit a bunch of stuff in Bonita Meadows.

This is an epic (yet free) camping location located right on the Kern River, just south of Lake Isabella.

Just 15 minutes from downtown Crown King is this remote, quiet place to camp with an incredible view of the sunrise in the morning. Accessibile by high clearance 2WD.

Feel like taking a little adventure? Take a cruise over to the mines near Dumont Dunes (just outside Baker, CA) and discover a piece of gold mining history that dates back to the 1800's!

Located south of Phoenix/ north of Tuscon, this is the perfect place to camp in the fall or winter. It is free dispersed BLM camping located in a huge cactus forest. Beautiful views especially at sunset and sunrise.

This is a great one if you want a fun, challenging semi-hard enduro ride. I would rate this ride as upper-intermediate to advanced. There are a couple of hill climbs, some exposure, and very rocky sections. You can take dirt roads in and stage at the pin listed below or you could probably park at the Chevron and ride in. We parked at the Pioneer Saloon in Goodsprings. A great return route to Goodsprings is also uploaded here.

When I tell people about our recent trip to Pioneertown, I get the same reaction from everyone. They all say “where is that?”. The short answer is 20 miles from Big Bear Valley and 30 miles north of Palm Springs. Pioneertown is a small high desert town that has been on our radar for about a year now. This town originally caught my eye because of all of the amazing Airbnb homes in the area. One of the biggest reasons we’ve wanted to visit here is the famous saloon, Pappy & Harriet’s. So I did a bit of research before our trip and complied a short list of things you definitely should do or check out should you have the desire to venture someplace new and interesting. You might be surprised at what the area has to offer.
