Lake Havasu is one of my favorite places to go boating in the summertime. It's also a great place to visit during the cooler months as well. Regardless of when you choose to visit, here is the best of Havasu.
Hotels
We don't stay in hotels very often, but as far as Havasu goes these two are the only ones ai can recommend based off our experience.
Dispersed camping is not allowed within the city limits, however there are two great dispersed camping areas just outside of town. This is assuming it's not summertime. Then it is way too hot to camp without AC!
These subs are amazing. Fresh, quality meats! The owner is so friendly. They even wrap the subs for the boat. (condiments on the side and double plastic wrapped)
Amazing food with daily happy hour specials on drinks & appetizers. Upscale bar & restaurant with views of the channel and London Bridge. Open from 3pm-9pm.
This is a loud, outdoor nightclub type bar with overpriced crappy beer, pretty awful music blasting way too loud, and it's usually always sticky. But it's a Havasu staple and there's always some fun people watching here. You have to go at least once. 😆
This is one of my favorite places to beach the boat. It's a clean, sandy beach where you can easily take a dip and watch the boats come and go from the channel.Â
It can be a crowded cluster F at times, but when it's not a holiday weekend it can be quite enjoyable to sit and watch the boat traffic and take in the views of Havasu.Â
