Travelling is expensive: flight tickets, hotels, activities, food, souvenirs, etc. Regarding your revenues, you have to fix a budget. For my boyfriend and I, the budget for flight tickets is a maximum of 250€ for two people (only in Europe). In general, we pay less than 150€. For hotels, it is less than 100€/night. Two years ago, when we were students, the hotel budget was about 90€/night maximum. In a few words, travelling isn't impossible for a low budget.
