Hi there, welcome to my page! Nearly 10 years ago, I packed up all of my belongings and moved across the US from my childhood home in Massachusetts to Los Angeles. I had no job, and no plan, but just enough ambition to try something new that got me out of my comfort zone. It wasn't long after arriving in Los Angeles that I discovered my passion for traveling, adventure, and being outdoors. I've been exploring non-stop ever since and have been lucky enough to experience 7 countries, 25 states, and 15 National Parks. I'm an expert in west coast travel, having explored much of California, Arizona, and Utah. Because of my full-time job and limited PTO, I plan my travel ambitiously, often times driving or flying somewhere on a Friday after work for a weekend. This is not your one-week relax and chill retreat vacation recommendations at the beach. I am more of a live-my-life-to-its-fullest and make-the-most-of-my-day type of traveler. Ironically, I love equally to travel solo or with a bunch of friends/family, eat old sandwiches on a backpacking trip or lavish on gastronomic food, a spontaneous adventure where we decide at 9pm where we are sleeping or a day-by-day planned trip. No matter where, how, with whom, and for how long, I choose to prioritize the experience and memories. And with a friendly budget. Sometimes, budget friendly means only booking a room on Airbnb in order to enjoy a nice brunch. Or, going to the grocery store to balance out an expensive scenic train ride. It's all about balance! At 24 years old, I am nowhere to be a travel expert. But, I lived in 4 different countries already, across two continents, and have a google maps saturated with saved pins. My obsession in finding the best gems, hidden spots, good food, fun cocktails, and unique experiences, has brought me here. You will find a good mix of shorts spontaneous weekends trips up to longer adventures; road-trip itineraries to nice hotels; Instagram- or TikTok-inspired worthy spots to unknown local gems; photogenic sceneries to more authentic views and smells. And occasionally, great spots to relax on your adventure. Because even if I enjoy walking 20'000 steps a day, I also enjoy a good spa/beach day as well!

Hi! I'm Petra! I’m Thai, born and raised. My business is based in the US, but I call Thailand and South Korea my homes and have lived in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil for several months. From my years living in Thailand and my annual 2-month-long visits, I'm especially knowledgeable and up-to-date about Thailand, its trends, and its culture. What are the coolest things to see and do (not necessarily the most touristy ones!), where are the best places to find authentic food (places that say "authentic" are out of the question), and which hotels have the best service... I can give you all these insider-level tips! I've lived in the US since 2015. As a digital nomad, I don't have a city or state that I'm based in, but I know LA especially well having lived there permanently for 8 years. Another of my expertise is South Korea, Seoul specifically, and Korean culture and history in general. Having grown up learning the language and visiting so often (14 times and counting), I can comfortably count Seoul as my second home. And I can confidently give you the best insider tips to Seoul just as well as Thailand! My travel style is culture-based. I love having deep connections with the local culture and people wherever I visit. So you won't find beach clubs or nightclubs much among my recommendations. Basically, if it is something you can see and experience at home, I'm not recommending it!

As I begin this journey into travel "influencing", I asked myself: What makes me a great travel content creator/ “influencer”? This was my answer... Travel is my OBSESSION. It begins with the foundation of my education. I studied Hospitality, Hotel and Restaurant management in college. I also have my WSET Level One, which is sommelier studies or the beginning of the process of becoming a sommelier. I studied in Niagara on the Lake which is in the Niagara region of Ontario. Niagara Falls isn’t but 20 minutes away. It’s like the Las Vegas of Canada. So tourism and travel to that area is off the charts. From there my heart got called to the Rocky Mountains of Canada. Which is arguably one of the most desired destination spot in North America, never mind the world. Over the span of 5 years I have worked in two world renowned Hotels and a Ski Resort; Fairmont Jasper Park Lodge, Fairmont Banff Springs and Banff Sunshine Village Ski Resort. This period in my life is where I truly discovered my passion and obsession with traveling internationally. In 2014 I discovered my love for Backpacking and seeing all parts of what a country has to offer. This journey started with a month long trek in the incredible country of Panama. Traveling as the only female, with a group of male colleagues, to around 5 different regions of the country, learning the culture, the language, and the depth Panama holds. The next country I spent a month in was Belize. Again, roaming the different regions, food and activities you can find in one of the most beautiful Caribbean countries. Other countries I visited during this period of my life were Costa Rica and Jamaica. Then came the beginning of a new chapter and adventure; Bali Indonesia and then Australia for two years. Australia is where I met my man. My visa expired the end of 2018, he got his and we moved back to Banff where we have lived for the last 5 years. During covid, we did a lot of exploring the west coast of Canada. Uculet, Tofino, Vancouver, and the Okanagan. After covid, we then did a two week trek exploring Baja California Surr in Mexico and the world class beaches that state has to offer. We rented a car and drove literally all around the province. And recently we just got back from exploring the insanely beautiful country of Portugal. Again where we rented a car and drove all around the country side. All the way from Nazare to the Algarve Coastline and everything in between. I’ve stayed in countless hostels, hotels and resorts. Worked and dined in dive bars and 5 star restaurants and everything in between. Spent 2 years living and working abroad in a country on the other side of the planet from everything familiar to me. Having visited 9+ Countries in the last 10 years, my twenties were truly dedicated to exploring as much of the world as I could with what I had. And because of these experiences, I completely understand the value and quality of a whole range of travel experiences; from camping in Tofino, too dining at the Shangri La in Sydney Australia. Now that I have stepped into my thirties, I am completely ready for more, to see more and experience more of this incredible planet. My passion and excitement for capturing and experiencing beautiful moments in time that only happen once in a lifetime, is truly what I live for. My ideal day in a new city involves wandering the streets of a new neighborhood to get a feel for its energy, ducking into an art gallery or museum to see something inspiring, and then stopping for an afternoon coffee and chocolate chip cookie. At night, you'll more likely find me in a cocktail bar than a club. I also love to hike, camp, and be near the ocean!
