Welcome to my completely unorganized but oh-so-helpful map of Washington DC! An absolute smorgasbord of my own travels and research, suggestions from friends and strangers, and many treasures found along the way, this is where I compile all things DC for my future trips and yours. Things I particularly love that you’ll find a lot of:
☕️ Coffee shops & bakeries
🌮 Local cuisine
🏛️ Museums of all kinds
🌳 Gardens & parks
🛏️ Boutique hotels
🍕 Small regional chains with good reputations
All my guides in this category are $5 per 100 places included, but since I add to these constantly, you can lock down the lowest price today and gain a lifetime access!
*Great public transportation; I suggest getting Metro Pass.

2022 was the year of a lot of travel redemption for most of us, but it was also the year I had to turn down trips to Portugal, Spain, and Paris, as well as have a trip to New Orleans cancelled due to Covid. But thankfully that didn’t stop me from a spring road trip to Texas, a few summer days in DC, two trips to Disney World, and lots of Tennessee day trips in between. Enjoy this travel journal of 350 (!!!) places, including:
🖼️ 42 Museums, Gardens, and Attractions
☕️ 50 Coffee Shops
🍽️ 99 Restaurants, Bakeries, and Food Trucks
🛏️ 38 Hotels, Bed & Breakfasts, and Airbnbs
✨ and a whole bunch more!
Scroll to the bottom for my favorites of the year!

Come with us for a whirl-wind trip to the capital city! This trip is planned for a Friday-Sunday weekend but could be adjusted to any 3 day travel window. DC is a great weekend destination because most activities are centrally located, and a majority of the museums and monuments included in this itinerary are completely free!
Additionally, this trip is a great example of what you could expect if you book my "Premium Itinerary" travel services.
🧳Trip summary
Day 1 - Travel & settle in
Day 2 - Memorials & Government
Day 3 - Museum highlights
Why this guide?
📒 Hyper-detailed itinerary. This isn't your basic list of suggested activities & restaurants. Your days will be covered down to the minute, including time allotted for travel between activities and recommended transportation options.
🎟️ Advance ticket purchase recommendations. Avoid the lines - and disappointment - by booking tickets ahead of time. You'll be guaranteed entrance and will enjoy walking straight in, past any lines for ticket purchases. Special call outs for combo tickets to bundle and save will also be included where available!
🧾 Location-specific packing list. This won't be a comprehensive list (surely you've remembered your socks), but it will cover some key items to toss in your bag for a truly great experience at your destination.
🏆 Honorable mentions. Unless you booked a one way ticket (jealous!), you've only got a limited time to explore. The suggested itinerary includes my opinions of the best choices for first time visitors with general interest. Feel free to swap those out with any of the honorable mentions.
✨ And finally...
If you are looking for a more tailored experience with a unique twist based on your interests, travel dates, and more, a custom itinerary may be best. I look forward to helping bring your vacation vision to life!

This map of Krakow is an all-encompassing map designed to be the one-stop shop for everything you need to know for a stay in Krakow.
I've designed this map to be used both for pre-scouting sights and recommended restaurants, and as a map to reference what's nearby as you walk around Krakow.
It includes:
Places of usefulness: Such as main transit hubs.
Places of Interest: Popular attractions, Museums & Parks.
Restaurants: Of all price levels $/$$/$$$.
Cafes and Bars.
Shopping and Entertainment Venues.
Wieliczka - Salt Mines.
About:
Krakow's monuments and buildings make it a city unlike any other. The Wawel Castle, Clotch Hall, and St. Mary's Basilica are all absolute must-sees. The City also boasts a vibrant food scene, both of local and international flair.

Oh, we're just getting started!
Now that I have a travel buddy, my wanderlust has been awakened like never before. I didn't do all my travel with her, but with her finding cheap flights, I finally got to go places I never thought I'd get to and they were just so much more accessible.
The vast majority of 2018 was spent doing weekend trips, which turned out to be our "thing". Don't let anyone tell you you need to spend more than a week traveling, even in Europe!
