Alternative Ho Chi Minh: Something different with the kids in Saigon

Alternative Ho Chi Minh: Something different with the kids in Saigon

The Boston Tribe Travels
As a full time travel family we are always on the look out for something unique to try when we arrive somewhere new. Saigon or Ho Chi Minh, is a bustling city with plenty of shopping and great restaurants but what if you fancy something a little different? This list of activities is a little off the beaten track but is suitable for the whole family. We did all these with kids and they had a blast.

3A Station

3A Station, formerly 3 warehouses built during French colonization, is a space filled with small boutique shops, cafés and art workshops. Here the cool kids of Ho Chi Minh City come to hang out, take photos and cool off in air conditioned rooms while sipping on iced cappuccinos and fruit tea

A firm favourite on the Saigon to do list, the  Cu Chi Tunnels are then intricate underground network that served as hiding spots and supply routes during the Vietnam War. Let the kids crawl through the narrow passages, witness demonstrations of trap systems, and gain a deeper understanding of the wartime experience.

We went on a small group tour and I would recommend a half day trip.
