Always On PTO
Lives in Hermosa Beach, CA, USA
Hi there, welcome to my page! Nearly 10 years ago, I packed up all of my belongings and moved across the US from my childhood home in Massachusetts to Los Angeles. I had no job, and no plan, but just enough ambition to try something new that got me out of my comfort zone. It wasn't long after arriving in Los Angeles that I discovered my passion for traveling, adventure, and being outdoors. I've been exploring non-stop ever since and have been lucky enough to experience 7 countries, 25 states, and 15 National Parks. I'm an expert in west coast travel, having explored much of California, Arizona, and Utah. I'm a hiker, camper, and love to explore off the beaten path, which you'll see reflected in all of my guides and itineraries. Because of my full-time job and limited PTO, I plan my travel ambitiously, often times driving or flying somewhere on a Friday after work for a weekend. I try to fit in seeing as much of a destination as I possibly can on my trips (even if that means sacrificing some sleep!). I'm always thinking about my next adventure and am very excited to help you plan yours! I hope you're able to find some inspiration with my guides and itineraries, and discover a new place that you want to add to your bucket list. The Traveling Geographer ā„¢
Lives in Milano, MI, Italia
Hi, Weā€™re Gabriele and Katy, an Italian-American couple of born explorers whose curiosity led us independently to some of the most remote places around the world, until our paths crossed on a trip ten years ago. Since then, we have traveled extensively together, especially in the Mediterranean basin: a region whose cultural and environmental richness captures our interest like no other. But it's to the main island - Sicily - that we canā€™t stop returning. Sicily, at the geographic center of this mythological sea, has been for millennia a crossroads of people who left an astonishing inheritance, making it a cradle of Western civilization. It is an island of endless sunlight, shaped by volcanoes, overflowing with history, beauty but also contradictions. It is a place where the complex natural and human history of the Mediterranean converged and developed in original and captivating ways. We now seek to share our unique expertise and knowledge of Sicily, coming from a lifetime of travel around the island, with like-minded travelers looking for the best quality experiences possible. We offer services developed with deep and unchanging passion for this place and, furthermore, through the eyes of an Italian biologist, geographer, sea lover and free diver and of an American writer, hiker and classic culture enthusiast. Our guides, itineraries and consulting services will give you the context of the place, detailed key information and plenty of options that allow you to design the travel that meets your interests, both to bucket list wonders as well as to hidden treasures that we have discovered ourselves. The philosophy that always drives us is the belief that knowledge is an essential ingredient for a deep understanding of the value and beauty of a place, a discovery that we hope can bring each of us to a new awareness, appreciation and respect for the diversity of the world, wherever we are. Buon viaggio!! More guides in production - coming soon!!

Jiun-Wei Lai
Lives in London, č‹±åœ‹
Hi, I am Jiun-Wei from Tainan, Taiwan. I have been living in the UK for around a year. Over the past year, I have traveled to 19 countries on the European continent with a backpack. Overall, I have visited nearly 35 countries around the world since I was a child. Old towns, atmosphere, local food in the alleyways, architecture, etc., always bring me inexplicable peace. While traveling, I also carry on my job to find a balance between my life and career. Especially working in a variety of places can give me more inspiration and sparks. Not only did I earn a bachelor's degree in Tourism and Culture in Taiwan, but I have just graduated with a Master's degree in Tourism Management from Bournemouth University. Meanwhile, I obtained the status of tour guide and tour leader. During the period of schooling, it fostered my deep interest in culture and history. Moreover, exploring and tasting delicious food worldwide is one of my interests. Hence, the itineraries and the advice I arrange and make for customers are planned around slow-based and historically significant sights and cuisine to provide an enjoyable but alternative travel experience in such a fast-paced society. I have a deeper understanding that each country has unique characteristics and culture after traveling to a number of countries. For instance, the most stunning scenery I have seen is in Iceland; the most mysterious country is Armenia; the place with unexpected scenery is Malta; the most impressive is Jordan, while the most friendly country is Taiwan. Hence, all of memories I gained makes me want to digitize the travel experience and share them more specifically. I hope to help people all over the world feels effortless to plan each of adventure by compiling travel experience into well-organized guidebooks and itineraries that contains my personal travel tips and advice!

Costa Tica Travel
Lives in Guanacaste Province, Coco, Costa Rica
Hi! I'm Kimi, your Costa Rica expert! ā˜€ļø I've been living in Guanacaste, Costa Rica for three years now, but I have been a repeat traveler to CR since 2016. My experiences have enabled me to create carefully crafted content inspired by local knowledge. āž”ļø Living in Costa Rica has given me the opportunity to get to know Costa Rica's top destinations authentically. Before living in Guanacaste, I lived in Heredia, outside of San Jose, for 5 months. From Tamarindo to Puerto Jimenez, Monteverde to Uvita, Puerto Viejo to Playas del Coco, I've had the opportunity to travel to all different destinations and discover many hidden gems off the typical Costa Rica itinerary. As far as types of travel, I'm a big advocate of slow travel, but I have done many different kinds of travel within CR. I have planned or helped others plan backpacking, family, and girl trips to this beautiful country. Working as an international teacher has given me a different perspective in advising longer trips to Costa Rica. I've learned many tips and tricks for finding community, getting around without a car, leasing an apartment, learning Spanish, renting a vehicle, and surviving in the hot province of Guanacaste. It's very important to me, as a traveler, that I understand the cultural context of the country I am traveling to. My goal is to help my clients feel comfortable and confident in Costa Rica, while respecting this country's unique norms and culture. My itineraries and guides are designed with all kinds of travelers in mind. From solo traveling to family trips, I've helped many people plan their dream vacation to Costa Rica. My goal is for you to experience Costa Rica at its most authentic, getting to know and interact with its unique culture and biodiversity. Iā€™m excited for all that awaits you when you answer the call to this natural wonderland. Iā€™m happy to help in whatever way I can along the way! Pura vida!
